IF: your goal is to burn more fat than this blog IS for you.
IF: you love running, biking, swimming, etc., this blog IS NOT for you.
Your body is a fat-burning machine, and unfortunately, people get fat because they gunk up the machinery with sugar, processed foods, and excessive exercise.
The question isn’t, “how do you burn more fat?” the question is, “how do you stop turning off the fat-burning machine?”
People look at exercise the WRONG way. They look at volume and calories burned. You should pay NO ATTENTION to either of these issues.
It would be best if you were concerned with INTENSITY. Did your workout stimulate your body to change and burn more stored fat when you’re NOT WORKING OUT? <——That is the million-dollar question!
If you are doing ‘cardio’ workouts beyond 5 minutes, you choose the path of least efficiency. You’re taking the long road to weight loss. Again, if you love running or doing endurance events, then this post isn’t for you. Do what you love.
But if your number one goal is to lose weight, then it’s time to cut out the 30-60 minute cardio workouts.
Try this instead:
- Pick a machine or go outside. (Do not use a treadmill or elliptical machine). I prefer the stair stepper.
- Go slow for 60 seconds
- Sprint for 15-30 seconds
- Go slow for 30-60 seconds.
- Repeat 3-5 times
- Done
That’s it.
Do this every other day to begin. That’s all it takes.
It seems too good to be true, right?
I’ll have clients do this for two weeks and see great results. Then the old program runs in their brain, and they start thinking they need to do more exercise. DON’T DO IT!!
Here is a simple and sure-fire way to start burning fat like crazy: Eliminate all grain and do just this workout. Please do this for 4 weeks and report back to me.
