What to Expect as a New Patient
At Epic Life Chiropractic in Wauwatosa, we believe that the first visit sets the tone for your entire care experience. That is why we make sure every new patient feels welcomed, informed, and confident about their path forward. From the initial consultation to the first adjustment, everything is designed to give you answers and help you feel better—fast.
Your First Appointment
We recommend setting aside about 45 to 60 minutes for your first visit. This allows time for a full consultation, neurological exam, spinal evaluation, and any necessary imaging. Dr. Jeff Grosskopf will explain what he is looking for, what he finds, and how chiropractic care can help.
Follow-up visits are shorter, typically lasting about 10 minutes. These visits are focused, consistent, and designed to support steady progress over time.
Our Process
Schedule and Paperwork
When you schedule your visit, our team will text you a link to complete your intake forms online. We also gather your insurance details ahead of time to make the check-in process smooth and simple.
Consultation and Exam
You will sit down with Dr. Jeff to go over your health history, symptoms, and goals. After the consultation, he will complete a full neurological and spinal exam to understand how your nervous system is functioning and where imbalances are showing up.
Digital X-Rays
If needed, we will take a specialized set of spinal X-rays to evaluate alignment and identify spinal ligament injuries. These images help us know exactly where the problem is and whether chiropractic care can help.
Review and Treatment Plan
After your exam, we will review your findings with you. Dr. Jeff builds a customized care plan based on your individual needs, exam results, and health goals. Most patients begin with a short period of consistent care, followed by ongoing wellness or maintenance visits.

What We Examine
Neurological Testing: Measures the health of your nervous system and detects imbalances caused by spinal stress or injury.
Spinal Evaluation: Helps pinpoint vertebral subluxations and identify how they may be affecting your health or symptoms.
MyoVision Scanning: Non-invasive scan that shows muscle tension, fatigue, and nervous system stress.
Spinal X-Rays: Used when needed to diagnose spinal ligament injuries, postural shifts, or areas of degeneration that may not show up elsewhere.
What to Bring to Your First Visit

A valid photo ID
Your insurance card (if applicable)
A form of payment (credit card, check, or cash)
Our team will handle the rest and walk you through everything from start to finish.
